Thanksgiving Day!

It has been 11 years since I spent the holiday's away from my family. I have to say I am grateful and thankful for wonderful friends that have invited me into their home. I am grateful that they were so willing to let me help a hand and make things that I would have with my family on Thanksgiving Day. I was able to make my Grandma Price's famous rolls. ( They tasted like her but didn't look so much like her's) I also made my Aunt Judy's famous Pecan Pie that I love. It turned out so good and it was a crowd pleaser! Which made me very happy!

As I was sitting at the table listening to a wonderful blessing on the food. The spirit of gratitude. I am grateful for Spencer and Karen how they have opened the home to every weekend. Always willing to feed me, give me a ride where ever is needed. It's not so hard to be away from family when I have such great friends that open their hearts to me when I need them the most. I would be lying if I did not say it was easy today being away from my family but my friends made it easier. Having their girls running around the house playing, crying, screaming. Made it almost seem like home. I did miss the sound of football playing in the background but I was able to make it without.

The one thing I am most grateful for today is my Savior Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for His love for me and His willingness to die for me. That I may repent and return to my Father in Heaven. The He made it possible for me to renew my covanents and be made whole again. I am grateful for priesthood blessings and worthy men that CAN give blessings when needed. I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who knows me for I am his daughter.

This was awesome! I wish I would have been in the right frame of mind at Thanksgiving dinner. My brother and I kind of had it out right before dinner. Fun! :<

No, it was still a good time and we fixed things. Those rolls are the best! Nat has made them before. Yummy.
